1. Fluoropolymer tube

Optinova can extrude a variety of fluoropolymers, including PTFE, FEP, PFA, ETFE, PVDF, MFA and PEEK. By combining unique material properties with advanced manufacturing processes, Optinova provides customers with high-quality, customizable tubing solutions.

PTFE tube

PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of all polymers and is useful in high temperature applications. PTFE has very good chemical resistance to all common solvents, acids and bases.

FEP tube

FEP is more transparent and optically clear than PTFE, hence its use in monitoring equipment. FEP is also more flexible than PTFE. FEP is virtually unaffected by oxygen, ozone and UV rays.

PFA tube

PFA has similar properties to PTFE, although it gives longer continuous lengths. It also has a higher continuous working temperature than FEP. PFA has the smoothest surface of all fluoropolymers.

PVDF pipes

PVDF has excellent creep and fatigue resistance as well as high thermal stability. PVDF has exceptional radiation protection against gamma rays. PVdF is unaffected by oxygen and UV rays.

ETFE tube

ETFE has high mechanical strength, high wear and abrasion resistance. ETFE has excellent tensile strength. ETFE is virtually unaffected by oxygen, ozone and UV rays and can be sterilized with Gamma.

Belonging to the PAEK family, PEEK is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic. Compared to PTFE, PEEK can withstand higher temperatures and stresses. PEEK is safe in direct contact with food..

3. PTFE heavy duty liner

HD PTFE liner has tight OD tolerances and super long continuous length. Custom coatings are available in PVC, PA, PP or PBT, allowing it to weigh less than steel and transmit less noise.

Double layer tube

Optinova double-wall tubes operate optimally at -32°C to 82°C and comply with EPA SESDPROC-301-R1. The raw material is top quality resin without PFOA surfactants and can meet your specific requirements.

Groundwater sampling tube

The inner layer is made from premium FEP complying with FDA21 CFR 177.1550 and NSF51. High quality resin allows the liner to be unaffected by most chemicals and the jacket is mechanically strengthened.

5. Industrial heat shrink tubing solutions, bulb coating, double wall heat shrink tubing, rolled tubes

Heat shrink tubing supplies sensitive parts and protects electrical components from heat, corrosion, shock and moisture. Common applications include transportation, electronics, and food processing.

Heat shrink FEP bulb coating

Optinova’s FEP bulb heat shrink is designed to prevent glass shards and harmful substances from leaking out when breakage occurs. Our coating process complies with IEC/BS EN 61549 standard.
